What we do with the information we gather

The information you provide through the application process is reviewed and assessed by our grant assessment team and may be passed on to the Royal Bank of Scotland Group (RBS). If your application is successful in the first round of assessment, it will also be shared with the Regional Board judging panel. Your 'Brief Statement' will also be posted on the Skills & Opportunities Fund website for members of the public to read, and cast their votes.

What information do we collect?

In addition to the data you voluntarily enter through the application form we also collect information on which pages are accessed or visited by users. This information is used for internal review to monitor the level of use and to improve the content of the site. Any aggregate data may be shared with third parties, but this data will not include any details which would allow any user to be identified.


We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
